Privacy Policy
Effective August 26, 2026
Dispatch Home ("Dispatch Home," "we," "us," or "our") helps airline pilots organize their schedules, view flight information, and share selected dashboard information with people they approve. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
We collect your name, email address, account role, and authentication information. For password accounts, we store a one-way password hash rather than your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. Pilot profiles may also include a display name, handle, airline, base, and equipment.
Schedule and import information
We store parsed schedule information needed to provide the service, such as flight numbers, routes, dates, times, sequence identifiers, and layovers. Company App Export Text is processed to create structured schedule data and is not retained as raw pasted text.
Google Calendar information
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you choose it, Dispatch Home requests read-only access to Calendar events and read-only access to the list of calendars associated with the connected account. Calendar-list metadata is used only to discover calendars that may contain pilot schedule events; Dispatch Home then reads event information needed to identify and display schedule data. Dispatch Home associates the Calendar connection with the email address already associated with your Dispatch Home account; the Calendar connection itself does not request your Google profile or email address. Parsed Calendar-derived schedule information is stored in Dispatch Home and may be displayed to Dispatch Home users whom you explicitly approve as connections. Dispatch Home does not request access to Calendar settings or access-control lists and does not create, edit, or delete events or calendars in your Google Calendar.
iCloud Calendar information
Connecting iCloud Calendar is optional. If you choose it, Dispatch Home asks for the email address associated with your Apple Account and an Apple-generated app-specific password. Dispatch Home does not need or request your normal Apple Account password. The app-specific password is encrypted before it is stored by Dispatch Home and is used by the server to connect to Apple's iCloud Calendar service through CalDAV.
After Apple accepts the connection, Dispatch Home can discover the calendars available through that iCloud account so you can choose the calendar that contains your airline schedule. Dispatch Home processes events from the selected calendar to identify schedule information. Event titles, notes, locations, dates, and times may be read while parsing the calendar; Dispatch Home stores the normalized schedule information needed for the app, such as flight numbers, routes, times, sequences, and layovers. Dispatch Home does not create, edit, or delete events in Apple Calendar.
You can disconnect iCloud Calendar from Dispatch Home at any time. You can also independently revoke the app-specific password from your Apple Account. A calendar stored only locally on a device, such as under βOn My iPhone,β is not accessible to Dispatch Home's server unless it is moved or synchronized into iCloud.
Connections and shared dashboard information
We store connection requests and accepted connections. When you approve a connection, that person may view the pilot dashboard and schedule-derived flight information made available through the service. You can remove a connection at any time.
Flight tracking and map information
Dispatch Home combines scheduled flight information with public aircraft broadcast data, including aircraft position, altitude, groundspeed, heading, and track history. Aircraft data is obtained from adsb.lol and made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Shared flight-track records are keyed to real-world flights rather than to a private schedule and may be reused for authorized viewers whose schedules include the same flight.
Technical and communications information
We use session cookies and may process IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and security logs to operate and protect the service. We also process email delivery information when sending account verification, password-reset, and service messages.
How we use information
- create, authenticate, and maintain accounts;
- import, synchronize, organize, and display schedules;
- show maps, live or historical flight status, and flight tracks;
- enable user-requested connections and dashboard sharing;
- send verification, password-reset, security, and service messages;
- prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and secure the service; and
- comply with law and enforce our terms.
How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. We disclose information only as needed:
- To people you approve. Accepted connections can view the dashboard information you choose to share through Dispatch Home.
- To service providers and connected services. Providers support hosting, email delivery, Google sign-in and Calendar access, Apple iCloud Calendar access, mapping, and public aircraft-data retrieval. They process information under their own terms and privacy practices as applicable.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or defend legal claims.
- In a business transition. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Google API data and Limited Use
Dispatch Home's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to provide and improve user-facing schedule functionality, maintain security, and comply with applicable law. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to build profiles unrelated to Dispatch Home's schedule features.
People operating Dispatch Home do not read Google API data unless you affirmatively ask for and consent to support involving that data, access is necessary to investigate abuse or a security incident, or access is required by applicable law.
Third-party aircraft data and licenses
Contains information from adsb.lol, which is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Attribution is displayed on maps that use this data. Public aircraft data is provided by its source "as is" and may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. See our Third-Party Data & Licenses page for details.
Data retention
We retain account, profile, connection, parsed schedule, and connected-calendar information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. This can include encrypted Google authorization tokens and, if you connect iCloud Calendar, your Apple Account email, encrypted Apple app-specific password, and selected-calendar metadata. Raw Company App Export Text is not retained. Authentication links are time-limited, and expired or consumed authentication-token records are purged after a limited security window. Security, hosting, and email-delivery logs may remain for a limited period under provider retention practices.
If you delete your account, Dispatch Home deletes your account, profile, parsed schedules, Google authorization records, iCloud connection credentials and calendar metadata, authentication tokens, imports, preferences, and connections. Shared public ADS-B flight-track records may remain because they describe a real-world flight and may serve other authorized users, but the deleted account identifier is removed from those records. Residual copies may remain temporarily in provider-managed backups or logs until their normal rotation; their safeguards and retention are governed by the configured hosting provider controls.
Your choices and controls
- You may use Dispatch Home without connecting Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar.
- You may disconnect Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar from Schedule Source controls.
- You may revoke Dispatch Home's Google access from your Google Account permissions.
- You may revoke an iCloud app-specific password from your Apple Account at any time.
- You may approve, decline, or remove connections.
- You may delete your account in Options > Reset My Account, or follow the instructions on our account deletion page.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, encryption of stored connected-calendar credentials, CSRF protection, access controls, and restricted production secrets. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Dispatch Home is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.
International users
Dispatch Home is operated from the United States. If you use it elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
